The Energy Hub provides the ability to send commands to various types of devices. A consistent mechanism is used across all vendors and device types for sending commands and checking their status. The availability of specific commands for vendors depends on the vendor and the configurations set by the end-user. You can find an overview of the control capability on the capability page. In summary, commands are issued through REST API endpoints, such as Submit Command for Vehicle. The Energy Hub manages the execution status of the commands. Once the status of a command changes, the application is notified via the streaming service.
